 VISA REQUIREMENTs

Most of the congress participants resident in Europe and the accompanying persons will not need to have a tourist visa to enter into Finland, because within the European Union’s borders, visas are not required. Since December 1996, Finland has been a member of the Schengen Agreement. For the whole territory of the Schengen Agreement, there is no passport control at the borders. It is always required to carry an  ID when travelling among the EU member countries. Two members of the EU are not members of the Schengen Agreement: United Kingdom and Ireland.
