The registration fee is U.S.$250.00 per person for members or U.S.$280.00 per person for non-members of the Association. Student registration fee is $100.00 with a proper student I.D. Late registration fees are $275.00, $325.00, and $125.00 respectively. The registration fee includes the receptions, the banquets, congress dinner, all social functions, city tours, all coffee breaks, and a copy of the congress proceedings and program. Non-congress session attending spouses' registration fee is $75.00. Non-member fee includes one year Association membership and one year free subscription to The Journal of Transnational Management Development. Once papers are accepted or a delegate's name is listed in the program, registration fees are non-refundable but substitute persons are allowed.
To register, please complete the registration form below and submit it with your congress registration fee to Executive Secretary, International Management Development Association (IMDA), P.O. Box 216, Hummelstown, Pennsylvania 17036, U.S.A. Please make checks/money orders/travellers' check payable to International Management Development Association drawn in U.S. dollars. Please make sure that your checks contain micro-encoded banking information, including the ABA routing number at the bottom of the check. If you are paying by Master Card, Visa, American Express or Discover, please provide your credit card number and date of expiration. Please be advised that there is a charge of $10.00 processing fee for credit card payments and $15.00 for non-U.S. issued bank drafts or checks. To avoid processing charges IMDA recommends payment by money orders.
ACCOMMODATION
The Melia Santo Domingo Hotel and Casino, Santo Domingo's leading vacation and conference site, overlooks the Caribbean Sea is located in the heart of Santo Domingo, convenient to the Colonial Zone, shopping, business and entertainment. Las Americas International Airport is 35 minutes away. The special room rates and other benefits have been negotiated for congress delegates. Charges for the rooms are as follows: single or double occupancy inclusive of American breakfast is U.S.$105.00 per night plus taxes. The same rate applies one week before and one week after the Congress.
As the month of June is a busy tourist season, delegates are advised to book hotel rooms well in advance to ensure availability. In order to assure the congress rate rooms must be booked by May 13, 1998 at the latest. After this date, rooms are offered on an availability basis and the rates will go up to U.S.$125.00 per night.
